KEPL, with the background of specialized in API 611 / API 612 compliant Turbines, also offers Non-API Eco-Tur. Eco-Tur is a single-stage backpressure turbine used in small combined Heat and Power Plants, Process Plants and Food Industries.

Process Industries use steam at the pressure lower than the pressure at which steam is generated. The pressure is dropped using Passive Devices such as “Pressure  Reducing Valves” ( PRVs). The above results in wastage of usable steam energy and hence wastage of revenue. Use of Eco-Tur instead of Pressure Reducing Valves provides an opportunity to generate revenue through electricity generation. The use of Eco-Tur can help in reducing the cost of operations and hence directly adds to the “bottom line”.

KEPL undertakes Turnkey project execution (excluding civil work) leading to single point of responsibility which is beneficial to customers from an Operation & Maintenance point of view.
