Srinivasan Services Trust (SST) has been working towards rural village development in India since 1996 as a social arm of TVS Motor Company and Sundaram-Clayton Limited. With a focus on integrated, holistic, and participatory approaches, SST involves the community in all its projects across 2,500 villages.
Their main areas of focus include women’s and children’s development, water conservation, holistic health and education, renovation of Anganwadis and Schools, and environmental preservation. SST aims to create sustained growth through close collaboration with the communities and government.
Following are the activities that were undertaken using the financial support extended by M/S Kirloskar Ebara Pumps Limited.

  • SST has provided a safe learning environment for kids at Anganwadis and students studying in rural areas of Thoothukudi, Thiruvannamalai, and Mysuru districts.
  • SST renovated several community structures in these areas, such as Anganwadis, schools, and toilets, to provide a conducive and safe learning environment for the children.
  • The organization’s commitment to community participation has resulted in a successful transformation of rural villages, with SST playing a pivotal role in the process.
